Students in the graduating yarn art program will be showcasing their final project at McCray Gallery. The artwork will include yarn sculptures and yarn drawings. A special presentation of hanging yarn balls will be displayed from the McCray Gallery ceiling.

“We have to be careful to display the yarn balls at a high elevation this year,” said Michael Metcat, art gallery director. “Last year, visiting cats were able to jump high enough to reach the yarn balls and all cat hell broke loose.”

Yarn Art is the most popular program in the Expressive Arts Department. Yarn is provided and classes last as long as necessary.
